Q: What continuing professional learning opportunities does WHW provide?
A: The main CPD material are recorded presentations by clinicians at the forefront of their clinical field and covering a wide range of topics for Physiotherapists and other manual therapists. In addition we will provide members with regular clinical updates, research reviews and short video demonstrations.
Q: Is there an on-going subscription fee to be a member of WHW?
A:No. Rather than having an unnecessary monthly expense for material that you may not be interested in at WHW you only pay for the material that you want. Our ‘Pay as you go’ method allows you to either pay in $ for any presentation you want to watch or you can buy credits to use immediately or at a later stage. A bulk-buy of a credit pack offers additional savings compared to one of single purchases.
Q: How long are the online presentations?
A: Most presentations are 45-60minutes and also include a questionnaire that is completed after viewing the presentation which is part of your evidence of learning that can be recorded in your personal CPD Portfolio.
Q: If I start watching a webinar recording and get interrupted, can I pause it?
A: Yes. You can pause, rewind, fast forward, stop and play the recording as much as you like.
Q: How long do I have to view a recorded webinar which I purchase?
A: You have 28 days to view the recording, which you can watch and re-watch as much as you like at your own convenience. Every presentation comes with the lecture notes, reference list & other resources however if you want to listen to it again this can easily be renewed for a very small amount for a further 28 days.
Q: Do I need a fast internet connection to view a webinar?
A: Nope. For members with (extremely) slow internet connections, you may need to wait 2-3 minutes for the recording to load at the start.
Q: Is it true that WHW does not hold LIVE webinars anymore?
A:Yes, it is true. We've been able to reduce the costs and hassle for our members and upload our webinars as recorded podcasts for you to view at your own convenience.
Q: The recording does not work on my computer. What do I do?
A:Chances are you are working on a PC which is super old. You may require a software upgrade for Adobe Flash. It's free and you can download it here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Alternatively if you upgrade your internet browser to Google Chrome, the latest recommended internet browser, this will also resolve your problem. You can download it free from here https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/
Q: Is it cheaper to register as a team?
A:Per person it's much cheaper to register as a team. You need to work within the same clinic in order to share registration. Have a look at our options and if you work in a team bigger than 6 individuals contact us directly to discuss the group fee we can offer.
Q: Can anyone present for WHW?
A: We are always looking for new presenters with new and innovative information. If you think you have something interesting you would like to present or have a particular area of clinical interest and extensive experience then contact us and we can tell you a little bit more about how we can show-case your material.
