Demystifying the SIJ and Pelvis:

Anatomy of the SIJ and Pelvis - Part 2/3

Having a good grasp of the anatomy of the pelvis is part of the foundation layer of knowledge needed by clinicians if they are to have a deeper understanding of the SIJ.

It is also essential to know the anatomy before going onto exploring the biomechanics of the pelvis. This presentation considers the pubic symphysis and SIJ as an integrated system of bones, cartilage, ligaments and muscles.
