Presentation Overview
Injuries to the wrist are common and often associated with falls on to the outstretched hand. These injuries can be frustrating for our patients and if not treated effectively, early, they can lead to long term complications such as pain and arthritis. This lecture looks at common wrist injuries such as mid-carpal instabilities, Scapho-Lunate ligament injuries and Triangular Fibro Cartilage Complex injuries. A variety of assessment and treatment strategies will be discussed for clinicians to consider as part of their management of wrist injuries.
