Headache is a very common condition and can be associated with neck pain. Michael will describe the common types of headache encountered in clinical practice and outline the common mechanisms of headache including cervicogenic headache.
Michael will also outline the worrying symptoms and signs that reflect a more sinister cause for headache. This information should enable PTs and PT assistants to more effectively treat these patients and recognise when to refer patients on for specialist opinion.
