Presenter Bio

Dr Mario Pribicevic BSc.M.Chiro.PhD is a Sports Chiropractor practising on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Mario has significant clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disorders for athletes at both the elite and amateur level.

Mario is also employed part time at Macquarie University and lectures/tutors post graduate master of chiropractic students in orthopaedic diagnosis of the spine and extremities, lectures/tutors final year students in sports medicine.     

His research emphasis over the past 7 years has focused on the shoulder which has led to the completion of a PhD degree titled “Chiropractic management of the shoulder”. Dr Pribicevic has published widely in this area including a number of systematic reviews investigating manipulative therapy management of the extremities. He has completed and will shortly publish the results of the largest randomised controlled clinical trial for chiropractic treatment of the shoulder. 

Dr Pribicevic has presented at numerous sports medicine and chiropractic conferences both nationally and internationally. He is a peer reviewer for a number of journals, & external examiner for Master of Research dissertations.
