Cervical Dysfunction Part 45: Whiplash: where to from here

1. Participants will understand the contemporary evidence base for whiplash in terms of physical and psychological characteristics

2. Participants will understand the potential mechanisms underlying the physical and psychological characteristics of whiplash

3. Participants will be able to identify people with whiplash who are at risk of non recovery as well as those likely to recover well

4. Participants will have an assessment paradigm with which to clinically identify these characteristics in the patient with whiplash and to guide treatment decision making

5. Participants will understand, select and interpret appropriate measures of outcome for the patient with whiplash

6. Participants will understand the psychological presentation of WAD, what assessment should be undertaken and how to integrate this knowledge into management
